Capt. (Dr.) Susarla Srinivas, also known as "Musical Navik," is a Mumbai- and Haifa-based musician, composer, lyricist, producer, and director. Formally trained in Carnatic music at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, he collaborates with and trains under prominent Bollywood music personalities.
Drawing deep inspiration from soulful, rhythmic traditions like Bhatiali and old-world Yiddish music, Capt. Srinivas has authored books on these musical forms. A versatile multilingual multi-instrumentalist, he plays the synthesizer, harmonium, guitar, and various percussion instruments. He has composed over 200 original tunes and authored hundreds of songs and poems, with plans to publish his literary works and record his compositions.
Currently, Capt. Srinivas is composing music for three films and producing a new album. He finds creative inspiration while retreating to the Himalayas and the Israeli coastline, where much of his lyricism is born. Looking ahead, this channel aims to simplify musical education and share accessible music lessons with students.
